ㅤABOUTㅤ ekko is a prodigy from zaun who learned to put his genius to use with whatever he had at hand. despite the few resources, he created a device he calls the 'zero drive', which allows him to rewind time to a certain extent. he fights for his freedom, his friends and his city — and makes it look like he achieves the impossible in the first try, every time.ㅤPORTRAYALㅤ canon based, but probably heavily headcanon reliant.

ㅤIII.ㅤ ekko is a canonical character from league of legends, but my portrayal is my own. please don't assume fanon applies to my version of him.
ㅤIV.ㅤ sensitive themes and mature content will feature on my blog. for that reason, i will not interact with minors.
ㅤV.ㅤ speaking of minors: when ekko was originally released, he was stated to be around 17. as of arcane, it's stated he is 19/20 during act 3, which is how i mean to write him, since arcane is the main source i'll be using for this blog.

ekko grew up as a genius child inventor, showing himself to be a self-taught prodigy from a young age, using whatever he had at his disposal in the streets of zaun to build his creations. he learned to fight for himself, and more importantly, to stand up for his friends and his city — unlike many zaunites, he doesn't want to leave, he wants to make zaun better.

modern verse / true damage.
a boy genius from the rough streets, ekko uses music as a means to express himself. although he could've left his neighborhood behind using his prodigious lyricism and technological savvy, he chose to stay and uplift the place he comes from. eventually he came to work with the best artists from around the world on true damage, a genre-defining collaboration to create the best hip-hop music.

a gearhead with a knack for complex engineering, ekko has the power to turn back time... though not quite enough for his liking. headstrong, loyal, and confident in his power, testing his temporal abilities on the enemies of the first star is just one step towards building the perfect time machine, one that can send ekko far enough in the past to save something dear to his heart.

a time fugitive who built his pulsefire suit from scratch, ekko improved the remembrancers' technology, crafting a modified chronobreak device that allows him to make short temporal jumps, create time breaks in a timeline or collapse all timelines into a single, anomally-free singularity.
